The book is great, as always with this author, but that he allowed Gina to kiss him killed it for me… if not for that it would’ve been a 4 stars read 🤷🏻♀️.

What!? I can't literally wait 1 year to read His Fight! I need it now! These brothers are so freaking adorable and sexy! I need more of them now! I would have loved to know Santo (the father) better too. He sounds sweet and sexy as hell. What a pity he's already happily married! Lol

I loved Nicola and Domino’s story. It’s a fantastic addition to the already amazing Mafia Made series. It keeps getting better and better.
Nicola’s life has not been easy. One night changes everything, when her family puts her up for sale. Fortunately for her she’s given a second chance, when she’s bought by a man with good intentions. When he assigns his son as her protecter things get interesting.
Nicola’s temper flares hot and only Domino can put out the flames. I love Nicola’s spirit and that she challenged Domino at every turn. These two are so good together and their connection is immediate.
I can’t wait for Santi’s book and the continuation of the series.

An explosive story that grabs you from the first page and keeps you wanting more in the end. Nicola and Domino are a perfect addition to the Mafia Made world. KL did an amazing job with building Nicola into the well rounded heroine she is.

Well, I don't know how or where to start.
So, I don't mind insta stories but this kinda didn't worked for me. And I can't exactly pinpoint what it is.
Maybe because what happened with that dance scene. Which on the same day Nicola and Domino first meet. I didn't understand, why Nicola while feeling uncomfortable with that guy forcing her to dance and so damn close, stayed cuddled and all just because Domino face was blank.
And while she was dancing Domino was kissing the chick. And Nicolas tormentor at that, which by the way he guessed based by Nicola reaction on seeing her supposed friends. Which by the way I need to add Domino already claimed Nicola as his. There was no fighting his feelings. So, why? What's the point of that kiss? Later they acted like it never happened. I guess it just made to question the whole connection of theirs.
There was more things that made me to question. Like the whole mafia thing. Especially, when the enemy easily walked in and out of the Domino parents house. No guards? I read the first book. I liked it and mafia part made sense to me. Here not so much. Maybe it was a while since 1st book and I forgot some details, that weren't mentioned here. Not sure.
I'm not sure I felt how both Nicola and Domino where a hotheads. I prefer level heads, that don't let rage to control them. Though, I liked that Nicola did stood up for herself, but I felt she needed to 'grow up' into herself. She felt as lost bird.

I have to say I really struggled with this book. Im going to give it a 3.5 out of 5 because I found it hard to connect with the Hero of the book. I feel like there were moments where I liked Domino and Nicola's relationship but there were other moments that really had me struggling to connect with the relationship. Domino is very much a alpha male protector but that line between being an alpha protector and being a controlling jerk was straddled a lot. Sometimes he fell on the protective alpha side and then other times he fell on the jerk side of the like.
Nicola was a great heroine because I really loved her vulnerability and her character growth over the course of the book. She really learned to come into her own and be her own savior in life.
This book throws a lot of twists and turns at the couple and they dont always handle them well but I would say if you read the first two books in the series this one is definitely worth the read. this story is very much about two people trying to navigate a variety of topics like love/lust, crime, betrayal,etc.. and i feel overall its a good story I just had a hard time connecting with the hero at times and had a hard time with some of the plot points but overall I would say worth the read but you should read the two other books in the series first to have a better understanding of what is going on.

Soo Good!!!
Love this series!! With the end of her Empire, I was wondering how’s Domino’s story was going to play out. KL did not disappoint. When Domino was charged with watching Nicola ( a girl that his father rescued) he never thought in a million years that he would be lead to the one who would change his life forever. But with one look he knew that he had found his one, and that he would do whatever it took to protect her. But as we know with KL things don’t always go as planned.
Nicola, is sassy and one touch chick, but she has had a really hard time trusting and making her way through life. As she’s released from the juvenile detention she meets that one man who makes her feel more than any has before. She learns right away that Domino will give her exactly what she needs. Both her and Domino have to fight to keep their forever that is oh so close, and in the end they definitely get the HEA that they deserve.
Loved this one and am so excited that there will be more to come with this series!!

This series is phenomenal and His Jailbird fits the mold and stays true to the characters and how they are perceived from the start. I can only hope that these alpha mafia men get to continue their stories!! Cause I know I NEED Domino’s brothers’ stories as much as I needed/wanted Domino’s. The spot for the top is currently a tie because wowza are Natale and Domino intense! Their women are just as much, their perfect counterparts. His jailbird is over the top with alpha protectiveness. Domino ALMOST makes Natale look tame with how protective and loving he is towards Nicola. Nicola is a force within herself! She won’t take no smack from anyone especially if it’s against someone she cares about. Their story was action packed but surprising in ways that I didn’t expect. Nicola and Domino are ready to confront anything together!

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
His jailbird is the third book in the ‘’mafia made’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Nicola has had a far from easy life. One of the unexpected things is being taken in by a crime boss. Domino is not happy that his dad has him babysitting a young woman. What he doesn’t expect is to meet Nicola and instantly want her.
The chemistry between Nicola and Domino is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Wow I am in awe of this wonderful story!! Kl has once again given us a wonderful insta love story that had me hooked from the start. After getting a glimpse of Domino in book 1, I knew his story was going to be hot and sexy. Sent on a babysitting job by his dad, Domino had no idea of how much Nicola would rock his world. Their chemistry is off the charts and are perfectly matched. Nicola has a heartbreaking story. She has a hard shell in place but she is just waiting for the right person to penetrate it. Kl is a wonderful story teller and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and series. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.

Nicola is a spitfire! She may appear tiny and breakable but her fist can break your nose in one hit. You tick her off enough and she could probably put you in the hospital for weeks.
When Dom meets Nicola that’s it for him. He decides then and there she is his and no one else’s. No matter if his dad planned to set her up with one of his brothers. He’ll take them all down to have her.
Of course we have to have some suspense and drama included so get ready for a fast, action packed ride!

I have so many mixed emotions flowing here! The story itself, Nicola's story, her life, are very good and definitely pulled me in. Domino is that OTT alpha, protective, intense and goes after what he wants. This is an age gap romance, she turned 18 the day they met and Domino has that insta connection to her. My only drawbacks, are my own preferences, I'm not a fan of the H wanting to be called "Daddy" behind closed doors and I'd love to see a bit more age and time on the h. Otherwise, the story had me hooked and I'm curious if we'll get to dig in to Domino's brothers going forward.

Nicola has been through some rough things, but she's a scrapper or should I say fighter. I absolutely freaking love this book.
Domino is very possessive ,obsessive ,strong and sexy and pure alpha. When he meets Nicola he knows she was meant to be his! There's tons I could say but I don't want to give away any spoilers. I want you to read this book so you can experience the awesomeness. it's so good , it has an excellent story in the characters are awesome. I have been having a hard time finding books that I could get into and this one just sucked me right in page after page. I could not put it down. Definitely a must read.

Holy crap! KL Donn cannot write a bad book if she tried. This book was fantastic!! Once I started it I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. Make sure you devout time to read it in one sitting. This book is about Domino and Nicola and their intense attraction/connection. Domino would do absolutely anything for her. This book has it all…an Uber alpha, romance, and suspense. I highly recommend you read His Kingdom first but you don’t have to. Can I have a book about Domino’s brothers, pretty please??

What an intense story. Jam packed with action from the first chapter. What Domino thinks will be a boring babysitting job, turns into meeting the love of his life. Nicola needs a firm hand and Domino is the one who is going to do it. Perfectly offset with a bit of humor from his older brothers, as well as horrible bad guys, more than one and Dom and his brothers are going to take care of them. Had me turning the pages as fast as I could. Absolutely loved it.

Domino and Nicola's story was so very unexpected, in the best possible way. Nicola is a fighter, her temper flares when it comes to the people she cares about. She doesn't give up, even when it might be easiest to do so. She is such an awesome character, you can't help but love her. Domino blows hot and cold at first but who can blame him. He didn't think that doing a favor for his father would bring him his soul mate. He got his act together but he was still a step behind Nicola. I couldn't tear myself away from their story, I loved it so much! Can't wait to see what Ms Donn thinks up next!

My first thought when I started reading and Domino and Nicola have their first intimate interaction was, "Holy crap, I need a Daddy like Domino". It is HOT!
KL Donn went above and beyond with this one and I loved seeing the Morello’s again. Dom took the possessiveness overboard and I was all over it. I practically devoured this in a couple hours and ignored everything else because it was hard to put down.
There is danger, suspense, mystery, some dark moments that had me with my mouth gaping open and so much possessiveness and passion that I am now hoping Dom's brothers get stories too.

This is a great story and the plot line is good. The characters are drawn to each other and are soon in love.
Domino has been away protecting the head Mafia and his Father has been keeping everything ready for the return. Along the way Nicola has wormed her way into Domino’s heart, and he will do anything to both protect her, but also give her the freedom to be herself.
Their journey together is both angry and loving at the same time. They both will need to bend , but not break and above all they must protect their love and each other.

OMG! Where do I begin? I was hooked from that very first moment by their instant connection. Domino and Nicola have a love that transcends time. A love that any woman would want. Who wouldn’t want a man that would burn down the world for you? And it gets pretty darn close to that! A man that chases away your nightmares. {Sigh} What a love story. And maybe a little bit of bloodshed along the way. So good!

After reading the first two books and getting a little taste of Domino, he turned out exactly how I thought he would. Growly, Alpha and so protective. And Nicola was the perfect little spitfire who challenged him at every turn. I really enjoyed the suspense mixed in with drama and romance.
Even though this is a part of a series, in my opinion, His Jailbird can be read as a standalone but is more enjoyable read in order.

This third installment of the mafia made series is fire! Nicola suffered most in her young life, she doesn't trust easily but she managed to trust her soulmate when they met for the first time. There were outside forces that tried to come between them but they didn't stand for it. They made sure they know who they are, author KL Donn did an amazing job with this third book, would make sure I recommend it 💛💛💛

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. How in the world does KL Donn make me fall in love with every single one of her main (and most of her secondary) characters?? It must be the combination of Alpha, protective hero and strong, yet vulnerable heroine. Whatever the reason….I will be a forever fan!
Nicola and Domino were the icing on the cake of this series, and then I learned there was a book 4. Seriously? How can you possibly top these 3 books? If anyone can do it, KL Donn absolutely can!!! Loved every minute!

Two strong characters. Neither back down from the other! I Loved This! Despite what Nicola faces, she holds her head up.
Mafia life sure isn't easy, but Dom is sure as heck going to protect and change Nicola's life. Despite his father's plan, Nicola is Dom's.

This was a quick read about Domino and NIcola. It was an interesting start to their story with Domino's father and the chemistry between these two was off the charts from the beginning. Even with all the steam there was a good storyline leaving you wondering how the story was going to play out. I always swoon for the alpha like Domino and found the strength and vulnerability in Nicola to be very easy to attach to the characters

An age gap, dark romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is an amazing read. It drew me in, held my attention and had me hooked. Domino and Nicola's story didn't disappoint. There's twists and turns with a few reveals. It's a must read and that ending loved it. You don't want to miss out on reading this one.

Although this can be read as a standalone I typically try to read them in order and they tend to flow better that way. That being said, I loved Nicola and Domino’s story. It’s was a great addition to the Mafia Made series.

Riveting storyline that kept me intrigued throughout the entire book. Domino is a protector and was asked by his father to pick up Nicola from the detention center. Nicola has had an extremely rough life and has a very hot temper. Intense revelations, danger, revenge and so much more. I absolutely loved the HEA ending and thought the characters were fantastic.
